May 8 – Special Election
April 9 – last day to register to vote in May Election

August 7 – Primary Election
July 9 – last day to register to vote in the August Election

November 6 – General Election
October 9 – last day to register to vote in the November Election


Did you know that you have an opportunity to vote in the form of an Absentee Ballot? To qualify you must meet one of the following requirements:

Be 60 year old or older
Unable to vote without assistance at the pools
Expecting to be out of town on Election Day
Unable to attend polls due to religious reasons
Appointed to work as an election inspector in a precinct outside of your precinct residence
In jail awaiting arraignment or trial

If this would appeal to you, come into the office or contact our office at 517-750-2800 ext.210 or 211 to have an application sent to you for an Absentee Ballot.

Or – CLICK HERE for an application. Print application, fill out completely, including marking both election dates or the single election date you prefer. Return to us via walk in, postal mail or you may put it in the Spring Arbor Township Drop Box located in the entrance to our parking lot. Applications must reach us by the SATURDAY BEFORE ELECTION in order for us to mail your ballot to you. Earlier is highly recommended.
